420/1200nm – Light with a wavelength of 420 nm is blue light that:
• is actively absorbed by porphyrins – byproducts of the bacteria Propionibacterium acnes;
• causes destruction of these bacteria (antibacterial effect);
• reduces inflammation, redness, and skin oiliness.
510/1200nm – Light with a wavelength of 510 nm is actively absorbed by melanin and oxyhemoglobin, which allows it to target:
• superficial pigmented cells,
• blood capillaries close to the surface of the skin.
560/1200nm – This filter blocks short-wave radiation, transmitting light that most effectively targets melanin (for pigmentation) and oxyhemoglobin (for vessels), without affecting healthy tissues.
585/1200nm – This wavelength is well absorbed by oxyhemoglobin in the blood – making 585 nm ideal for working with capillaries and vascular “nets”. The light penetrates slightly deeper than 560 nm but remains gentle and safe.
640/1200nm – The main absorption occurs in melanin in the hair rather than the epidermis – making it ideal for long, dense body hair (legs, back, bikini area).
690/1200nm – Absorbed primarily by melanin, but to a lesser extent by hemoglobin and water, thus reducing the risk of skin burns.
• Works better on thick skin and large body areas.
755/1200nm – Can be an excellent solution for permanent hair removal in fair-skinned individuals with dark hair and for correcting pigmented spots.
